Implemented: Random enemy spawning, collision, projectiles , movement, idle and death animation, sfx, moving backgrounds, infinite state

Future plans: Enemy AI, multiple enemy types, multiple enemies onscreen, enemy collision avoidance, music, alternate weapons, cool bugs


Hey everyone!

This is my first game, though at the time of this post it's more of an "endless state".  

I am currently "balancing" an evasion AI for the aliens that is better than me, because I refuse to be beaten by myself!

Therefore I've decided not to implement it until I can balance the scales between fun and frustrating when playing my game.

Do you have an opinion about how you believe enemy AI could be fun to play against while still challenging the player? 

Would you like to know how to make any of the features seen here within pico-8?
